For the third consecutive year, SDC Monk is proud to present Monktoberfest, a must-attend fall event brilliantly produced by Théâtre Paradoxe. This vibrant festival, which embodies the festive spirit of Montreal’s Sud-Ouest neighbourhood, will come to life on Saturday, October 4, 2025, on a closed street in front of Théâtre Paradoxe (between Jolicoeur and Jacques-Hertel), in the heart of Ville-Émard.

The musical lineup promises to electrify the crowd with well-known artists. Festivities will kick off in the afternoon with The Van Hornies, followed by Tony Rust and The Mudhorses, before reaching a high point in the evening with the highly anticipated performance by Clay and Friends. A large outdoor stage will bring Boulevard Monk to life, transforming the street into a true open-air celebration space.
In addition to the live music, several highlight moments will punctuate the day. The Caisse Desjardins du Sud-Ouest de Montréal Family Zone will welcome singer-songwriter Christian Vien, who will get both kids and adults singing along. Attendees will also enjoy the energetic performances of École de danse Chantal Renaud and the Boutique Melow fashion show, showcasing local talent and the rich diversity of artistic expression in the neighbourhood.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a wide variety of food offerings from participating local eateries, including: Gourmet Aldo, Avec le Temps, Pastamalfi, Cinqàsept, Double Pizza Monk, GagaGlace, Taco Margarita, Wuli Korean & Japanese Cuisine, La Boîte Bento Asiatique, and Instacrispy.
The experience will be further enhanced by the presence of local non-food merchants and organizations highlighting their creativity, products, and services: Spooks and Spanks, Boutique Melow, Liquidation W&S, and Café Beardlington & Barbershop.
