Come celebrate the dawn of a new era in dance in Quebec—the birth of a democratic and accessible neoclassical ballet company!
Following the postponement of our benefit gala originally scheduled for April 11, 2026, we are pleased to announce that our event will take place on September 12, 2026, at the Théâtre Paradoxe in Montreal.
On the menu: a cocktail reception (buffet) provided by the excellent caterer La petite France and paired with wines from Mario Pelchat’s Domaine Pelchat Lemaître-Auger; a presentation of excerpts from our repertoire; a performance by our honorary president, Patsy Gallant; and musical accompaniment by Marie-Josée Cyr and Gilles Delorme during the cocktail reception and dance party.
Don’t miss our raffle drawing later in the evening, where you could win up to $500!

It is with great pride that we unveil the Quebec National Ballet today.
Rooted in the cultural richness and traditions of this region and inspired by the timeless legacy of Eddy Toussaint, one of Quebec’s dance pioneers, the company aims to showcase a narrative, musical, neoclassical ballet—grounded, deeply human, and one that speaks to the hearts of its audience.
A choreographic repertoire that is accessible and popular in the noblest sense of the word, yet technically demanding. A form of dance that tells stories—primarily from here, but also from elsewhere—that resonates with a wide audience and brings people together rather than excluding them.
This deeply human approach reflects the reality of today’s Quebec: a society rich in diversity, with multiple origins, and a desire for inclusion. A space where technical precision meets artistic freedom, where tradition fuels new momentum, and where the stage becomes a place for a meaningful connection with the audience.
A wonderful adventure is about to begin, and we can't wait to share it with you.
